Artist opportunities

We are currently auditioning actors for a project

involving innovative staged readings of Shakespeare's plays.

Seeking all genders and types.

Must have experience with performing Shakespeare.

This is a project in development, with performance opportunities

in December and in 2027.

We rehearse on zoom with in person rehearsals starting in the fall.

Performances will be paid.

We hire artists as independant contractors on a show by show basis.

We post audition and designer notices here on this page,

on the League of Chicago Theater's audition board, and on social media.

Calls for New Plays for our New Play Festival will be posted here, as well as on social media, on the League of Chicago Theaters website and various playwrighting boards.

If you are interested in submitting a new play, we accept unsolicited submissions that align

with our mission statement (by, for or about women, especially mature (50+) women)

during the month of January only.

*Unsolicited plays submitted outside of this time period will not be read.
